Dr Klaus-Henning Kahl speaks to ecancer about IORT at the University Hospital Augsburg in Germany. At the University Hospital Augsburg IORT is used mainly for breast but the practice is now changing to use it for other cancers too.

He says IORT is a surgical tool that can be applied to a tumour bed and it can be effective in treating certain cancers.
