Dr Rainy Umbas - University of Indonesia, Jakarta, Indonesia

Dr Rainy Umbas from Jakarta, Indonesia, discusses the ‘Current use of systemic therapies for localised disease’. He explores which treatment modalities are available in Asia, and which factors and specific characteristics should be considered when selecting which treatment modality to use in each individual patient. Dr Umbras reviews the Asia Consensus Statement (Prostate Cancer) recommendations, as well as the European Association of Urology and American Urological Association guidelines. Finally, he considers the pre-operative therapy clinical studies being conducted in localised disease.
