Dr Fedro Peccatori introduces the new ecancer Special Issue, 'Gynaecological cancers in the era of fertility preservation: old problems, novel approaches', guest edited by Dr Valentina Lucia La Rosa.

He explains the importance of addressing fertility preservation issues in gynaecological cancers due to the adverse psychological impact on patients, among other issues.

Dr Peccatori discusses the six different papers in this Special Issue which cover the fertility preservation of gynaecological cancers over different topics.
