Dr Rebecca Wong speaks to ecancer at the 2019 AORTIC conference in Maputo about the the work of the radiation oncology special interest group.

She describes her first talk, discussing the incidence and treatment of rectal cancers across high-income countries and also the developing world.

Dr Wong then outlines the future direction of these workshops and hopes to bring more of the other disciples together such as medical physicists.

Finallyy Dr Wong outlined her mentoring work with the education and training committee, discussing what resource areas and resource gaps are present across Africa.
