Prof Twalib Ngoma speaks to ecancer at the 2019 AORTIC conference in Maputo about the development of the national cancer control program in Tanzania and what can be learnt from the process.
He begins by describing the process of developing the program, what areas the goals of the program cover and what stage the process is at currently.
Prof Ngoma also highlights some of the successes of the program so far including introducing the HPV vaccine and setting up a new cancer centre in Bugando.
