Dr Carolina Uranga speaks to ecancer at the SIOG 2019 meeting in Geneva about the use of geriatric screening tools in nursing.
She explains the workshop that took place, which focused on the application of these screening tools - in particular, The Vulnerable Elders Survey-13.
Dr Uranga describes the clinical impact of this survey, along with the nurse's role in implementing this tool in the clinic.
