To help improve the quality of breast cancer care globally, a collaboration of leading partners has created the Grand Rounds in Breast Cancer series of educational webinars. This session with ecancer enables learners the opportunity to discuss controversies, real-life challenges and effective application of existing knowledge.

In this edition Prof Claudia Allemani (London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, London, UK) presents her talk on 'Global trends and inequalities in breast cancer survival and care' highlighting the worldwide population based 'CONCORD' study which provides survival estimates for nearly 2 million adults with cancer and for which she was a co-Principal Investigator.

Next up Dr Ophira Ginsburg (National Cancer Institute, USA) shares her comments on and highlights the importance of this study due to the undervalued yet pivotal nature of cancer registry work.

Prof Vesna Zadnik (Institute of Oncology Ljubljana, Ljubljana, Slovenia) chairs the discussion and, along with Dr Ginsburg and the watching audience, poses questions to Prof Allemani on aspects of the study and it's results.
