Prof Christina Peters - St. Anna Children's Hospital, Vienna Austria

Prof Christina Peters speaks to ecancer about her presentation at ALL Assembly 2021 on supportive care for children and young adults with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL).

She explains that, together with her colleague Prof Adele Fielding who was handling the adult patient perspective, the interactive session looked at the different levels of supportive care for ALL patients around Europe. She highlights that it is important to support not just the patient but also their family, and the session included a case study of a mobile nursing team to allow for supportive care at home.

Prof Peters closes by noting that since the pandemic care at home has become even more valuable.
