Dr Aurelio Castrellon speaks to ecancer about targeted therapy for breast cancer.

He says that the main targeted treatments that are now in use against breast cancer are tyrosine kinase inhibitors.

Dr Castrellon mentions that his presentation at ASCO Miami 2021 Symposium covered the results from the PALOMA, MonaLisa and MONARCH trials.

He then explains the results from these trials and their significance in targeted therapy for breast cancer.

He concludes, by mentioning some of the drugs that can be used to treat breast cancer.
