Dr Matthew Williams talks to ecancer about the study that was presented at this year's NCRI meeting which estimated the risk of death from COVID Infection in adult cancer patients.
He first explains why there is a higher risk of infection in these patients and how much is that risk. Then he talks about how cancer treatment can be carried out amidst this pandemic with the safety of these vulnerable patients kept in mind.
Dr Williams finishes it off by predicting what the future of cancer treatment for these patients looks like.
