Prof Alessandra Gennari speaks to ecancer in an online interview about how to manage breast cancer during the COVID-19 pandemic.

She initially outlines the general protective measures taken by her institute to avoid the spread of COVID, particularly surrounding how they handle cancer patients and appointments.

Prof Gennari then goes in to some depth about specific issues in breast cancer patients, including age, co-morbidities, age, and how to administer treatment during isolation.

She finalises by providing advice on how to make treatment decisions based on the cancer and COVID respective risks.
