Dr Divyanshu Dua - Icon Cancer Centre, Canberra, Australia

Dr Divyanshu Dua speaks to ecancer at the SIOG 2019 meeting in Geneva about the importance of SIOG advanced courses in Australia.

He explains that, due to an increasingly ageing population and with Australia and also Japan among the countries with the oldest populations, it is increasingly important to have a workforce that is specifically trained with older patients.

Dr Dua believes that as more people are trained by these courses there will be an increase in public voices and lobbying which will in turn positively impact funding.
