Prof Mike Jaklitsch speaks to ecancer at the SIOG 2019 meeting in Geneva about some of the challenges involved with treating elderly lung cancer patients.

He explains that with modern techniques improving the invasiveness of operations, the pool of patients who can receive these surgeries as increased.

Prof Jaklitsch also highlights the importance of smoking cessation prior to surgery.
