John Katsetos speaks to ecancer at the APAO 2019 meeting in Boston about the main objectives of the organisation.
He discusses the importance of APAO, which provides educational opportunities for physician associates (PAs) so they can continue to provide up to date care in their practice.
Katsetos also describes a mentorship program that the APAO provide to young PAs who specialise in oncology, and challenges that assistant oncologists may face.
He concludes by outlining the reasons why PAs should attend the APAO meeting, along with the integration of additional topics in future meetings.
