He explains that risk factors such as tobacco smoking and urbanisation are contributing to a much larger incidence of cancer in low and middle income countries.

Dr Lopes discusses the importance of accurate cancer diagnosis in order to improve prognosis and how the implementation of PET CT scans is vital to this.
