Dr Vineet Talwar speaks to ecancer at BGICC 2019 in Cairo about the effect of fatigue in patients with breast cancer.

Dr Talwar mentions that although the majority of these patients experience cancer-related fatigue, their symptoms are often overlooked.

He also explains the importance in taking a multi-targeted approach in order to determine the cause of the fatigue which may be of a biological, psychological or emotional origin.

He believes this process is on-going and requires the collaborative effort of clinicians, psychiatrists and psychologists in order to identify and support these patients.
