Prof Baumann, ECCO president, speaks about his vision for the upcoming 2011 European Multidisciplinary Cancer Congress in Stockholm. Among the priorities are the importance of a multi-discipline approach to clinical trials, education and research. Prof Baumann goes onto discuss the technological advances that have been presented at ESTRO 2010 and the ways that translational biology is working together with translational physics to advance cancer treatment.
