Our institute is a leading research institution of the Southern Federal Region that serves more than five federal regions. Our institute has powerful, modern facilities and resources.

Modern methods for treating tumours in various locations are being put into practice, research and development are being conducted in areas of focus, molecular studies are being given considerable attention, and various plastic reconstructive surgeries are being introduced.

-And then some detail about your own work...

In our department, we perform various surgeries on patients with malignant tumours of the head and neck.

We perform almost all types of operations. In recent years we have devoted a lot of attention to plastic reconstructive surgeries that enable us to simultaneously remove malignant tumours while restoring such vital functions as swallowing, nutrition, and speech.

This allows us to achieve the anti-tumour effect as well as an acceptable quality of life and to ensure that the patient adapts more rapidly to his social environment.
