Prof Lisa Licitra - Instituto Nazionale Tumori, Milan, Italy

Prof Licitra speaks with ecancertv at the IFHNOS 2016 session in Moscow about systemic therapies for head and neck cancers.

She describes efforts at integration of chemotherapy into treating local tumour indications, and surgical alternatives to chemo-radiation to reduce adverse events.

Considering developments in immuno-oncology, Prof Licitra anticipates early trials which are currently ongoing will soon provide clearer steps towards a multi-modality treatment of local cancers.
