Prof Sonneveld (University Hospital Rotterdam, Netherlands) chairs a discussion with Prof Palumbo (University of Torina, Italy), Prof Mateos (University Hospital of Salamanca, Spain) and Prof Dimopoulos (Univeristy of Athens, Greece) for ecancertv at the current treatment practices meeting in Amsterdam about advances in multiple myeloma.

They discuss the duration of standard treatment (continuous versus fixed), the treatment of frail or unfit patients, transplant strategies, and novel agents.
