Best practice in HRRm testing in patients with metastatic prostate cancer
Dr Liping Xie from Zhejiang, China, presents on ‘PSA screening; where east meets west’ and asks what can be learnt from the West. He focuses on the increase in advanced prostate cancer diagnosis in Asian countries in recent years, and links this to the current low rate of PSA screening in this region. He encourages the widespread introduction of PSA screening in the east, presents the evidence in support of this and examines how best this can be implemented for maximal clinical and health economic outcomes.
