Dr Demetris Papamichael - BO Cyprus Oncology Centre, Nicosia, Cyprus

Dr Demetris Papamichael discusses the treatment options that are available for patients with adjuvant or metastatic colorectal cancer and identifies a need for clinical trials that contain more elderly patients. Colorectal cancer is typically found in the elderly and there are a number of complications associated with this increased patient age. However, Dr Papamichael stresses that patient condition is more important than age; outlining how clinicians can determine the patient condition and how this affects treatment selection.
