Accelerating access to innovative therapies in Africa
Prof Ophira Ginsburg speaks to ecancer at London Global Cancer Week 2025 about some of her highlights from this year's conference.
She highlights Dr Dario Trapani's presentation and work on the importance of value in cancer medicines as being vital work.
Prof Ginsburg also comments on how the conference has evolved over the years having been involved at the very first meeting at the Royal Society of Medicine.
She concludes by highlighting that sex and gender are often overlooked in equitable cancer care when it comes to knowledge of risks and support, and that perhaps this is also somewhere we can still improve.
