Sarah Adomah speaks to ecancer about a talk she presented at London Global Cancer Week 2025 on 'Ethnic diversity in cancer research and clinical trials'.

She begins by describing the the need for research to represent the wide diversity in the population as otherwise the research may not be beneficial to a portion of the population, causing detriment to their health.

Sarah highlights some areas where work is being done to help bridge this gap including the National Institute for Health and Care Research updates on funding applications.
