Dr Ann Meredith Garcia-Trinidad presents her talk at Choosing Wisely Philippines 2023 about choosing wisely in complementary treatment for cancer in the Philippines.

She explains the current landscape of and misconceptions on complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) in the management of cancer in the setting of the Philippines and highlights the risks and benefits of CAM in the management of cancer.

Dr Garcia-Trinidad concludes by outlining key strategies on how to discuss CAM use in patients with cancer.
