Dr Fidel Rubagumya speaks to ecancer at Choosing Wisely Tanzania 2023 about his talk on Choosing Wisely campaigns in Africa.

He outlines the background of the Choosing Wisely initiative. The first Choosing Wisely Africa paper was released in 2020 which listed ten practice guidelines that oncologists, patient advocates and policy makers could follow.

Dr Rubagumya concludes by highlighting the role of Choosing Wisely in raising awareness of resource utilisation in Africa.
