Dr Pramesh speaks to ecancer about his talk at the Choosing Wisely conference which is about building collaborations for cancer research.

He says that there is a lack of interdisciplinary collaborations in low-middle-income countries and that there needs to be more area-specific research.

Results become generalisable when trials are carried out with collaborations in LMICs.

Dr Pramesh then talks about the efforts made to support such research in India and the funding programmes initiated for new researchers.

He concludes by talking about the future of collaborated research in India.
