Dr. Fred Ting is an internist and medical oncologist in the Philippines and is based in Bacolod City.

He is currently the Chair of the Clinical Consensus Committee of the Philippine Society of Medical Oncology, and the Chair of the Committee of Medical Education and Training of the Dr. Pablo O. Torre Memorial Hospital.

He finished his medical degree at the University of St. La Salle College of Medicine, then proceeded with his training in Internal Medicine at the Dr. Pablo O. Torre Memorial Hospital (Riverside Medical Center), and finally finished his fellowship training in medical oncology at the University of the Philippines – Philippine General Hospital where he was able to present his research papers nationally and internationally through grants from the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO).

His research interests are in health systems, palliative and supportive care, and solid tumors. He has authored numerous publications in various international peer-reviewed journals and has received multiple awards for his work.
