SLAGO 2017 has as learning objectives the following topics:

• To evaluate the potential benefit of molecular and immunological therapy against cancer.
• Employ new concepts and agents in clinical practice to achieve better results.
• Employ new technologies in the diagnosis and selection of the treatment to be delivered to the patient as a personalized medicine.
• Identify and solve the problems that arise in daily work by comparing personal experience with that of Latin American and international presenters and colleagues.
• Identify some of the problems in accessing new therapies in the Latin American population.
• Creation of Latin American links.
• Create a Latin American consensus on gastric cancer, gastro esophageal junction cancer, based on the reality of our epidemiology, reality in medical medical resources.
