The theme for EONS 10 is Balancing health care needs in a changing context. Balancing the physical and psychosocial care needs of patients and their family members is an increasing challenge for cancer nurses across Europe, in the context of demographic change and constant advances in diagnosis and treatment.

This exciting conference programme brings together cancer nurses, clinical nurse specialists, advanced nurse practitioners, researchers, psychologists and other key members of the multi-professional team to discuss the care needs of patients and families and how they can best be met, to debate the challenges that nurses face in providing comprehensive care that enables people to live with and beyond cancer or to die well, and to consider solutions and new models of care that are fit for the future.
