43rd International Society of Oncology and Biomarkers
1 - 6 Sep 2016
The Congress Plaza Hotel and Convention Center, Chicago, United States of America
With the theme, “Towards Precision Medicine: From Biomarker Discovery to Novel Therapies” the Congress links all fields of cancer research and oncology.
The meaning of “Biomarkers” keeps evolving and we now realise that basic scientific discoveries today will most likely become the tumour biomarkers of tomorrow.
The fascinating world of biomarkers is where scientists, laboratory medicine specialists and clinicians meet.
Biomarkers hold out promise for improving the clinical outcomes of cancer patients.
For this reason, the theme challenges us to translate new findings into clinical practice, and invites interdisciplinary and innovative approaches.
The latest findings in cancer research, diagnosis and clinical oncology will be presented in oral and poster format, along with panel discussions and special topic seminars.
Commercial vendors will be on site to showcase their products and services.
The participants will have an opportunity to exchange ideas and expertise in an international forum, to engage in collaboration, to meet with friends and colleagues from all over the world, and to hear lectures delivered by prominent leaders in the field of Cancer Research, Oncology and Biomarkers.
