Metastatic colorectal cancer: Championing the role of RAS biomarkers
24 Mar 2015
Stanhope Hotel, Brussels, Belgium
On the first-ever World Metastatic Colorectal Cancer Day on March 24, 2015, the International Colorectal Cancer Association (ICCA) is pleased to invite you to the launch of the Get Tested campaign.
Get Tested aims to raise awareness and understanding of the importance of RAS biomarker testing in patients who are newly diagnosed with metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC), and to encourage them to discuss RAS biomarker testing with their doctor.
A White Paper will be presented to members of European Parliament and national governing bodies, which calls for the routine use of RAS biomarker testing in all patients who are newly diagnosed with mCRC, so the most appropriate treatment option can be selected as part of a patients’ personalised cancer treatment plan.
The campaign launch meeting will be chaired by Professor Fortunato Ciardiello, Chair of the Get Tested Steering Committee, President-elect of the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) and Professor of Medical Oncology, Seconda Università degli Studi di Napoli in Naples, Italy.
Speakers will include:
Representatives of the Get Tested Campaign Steering Committee, EuropaColon and prominent members of the European Parliament.
For registration or any further details, please contact the Get Tested campaign secretariat: GTCampaign@axon-com.com.
