- To better understand the complications of radiotherapy to the head and neck, with pathways for the limitation of complications
- To see how the team can improve the care and management of patients with head and neck cancer
- To consider the care and management of patients with head and neck cancer, and how it can be improved from the patients own perspective
- To learn how robotic surgery can influence survivorship after treatment in head and neck cancer
- To understand the impact of head and neck cancer treatment on the vital functions of this area and how it can affect the quality of life of those patients
- To understand the degree of damage to the ability to speak and eat following treatment
- To look at the future of treatment for head and neck cancer in improving outcomes particularly in respect of survivorship
