CORE-X 2011 is an educational programme intended to engage healthcare professionals and stimulate discussion on the treatment options available for patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC). Led by a panel of high profile international and regional specialists, it will provide comprehensive insight into the current treatment landscape with a view to optimising treatment paradigms and improving patient outcomes in mRCC.

Using a blend of instructional presentations, discussion sessions, and clinical cases, the interactive meeting will cover:
Education on the disease area, unmet needs, and important molecular pathways in mRCC,
A review of the latest clinical data in mRCC,
A discussion around current treatment approaches by utilising patient cases to illustrate the importance of evidence-based medicine in optimising treatment for patients with mRCC.
The international faculty is comprised of Dr Emiliano Calvo and Dr David I. Quinn. Local Chairs will be Dr James Larkin and Professor John Wagstaff in London, and Dr Richard Griffiths and Dr Robert Jones in Manchester.
