Hyatt, Philadelphia, United States of America
The goal of the 7th Annual Multidisciplinary Symposium on Head and Neck Cancer is to fill current education gaps and foster the integration of evidence-based patient care into everyday community practice by addressing advances in our understanding of the biology and treatment of head and neck cancers.
Key data from international oncology conferences on the multimodality management of locally advanced head and neck cancer, current standards and novel therapies for nasopharyngeal and thyroid cancers, importance of prognostic/predictive biomarkers including HPV in diagnosis and treatment decision making, EGFR-targeted agents, and other developmental therapeutics will be discussed.
In addition to didactic lectures, this Symposium will feature, a multidisciplinary case management session illustrating the interaction and cooperation between the different branches of oncology, and panel discussions that provide ample opportunities to directly interact with and learn from leaders in the field of head and neck cancers.
Key experts in head and neck cancers, such as Drs Ezra Cohen and Barbara Burtness are regularly engaged by PER for the design of our educational activities and to ensure that we are addressing current educational needs that will positively impact patient care.
