Dr Susanna Puig speaks with ecancer at the EADO 2018 congress in Barcelona about the advancements in technology to treat melanoma and tackles the question 'Will computers replace the dermatologist?'

Dr Puig acknowledges that algorithms have been able to diagnose skin cancer better than dermatologists in some cases by only using images.

She argues that at the moment the algorithms aren't as successful in combating many different problems at the same time but that the use is of rising significant benefit to dermatologists
