Made to measure: Choosing the optimal regimen in transplant-eligible NDMM
Prof Matti Aapro speaks to ecancer in an online interview for the virtual BGICC 2021 meeting about challenges in oncology management during the COVID-19 era.
Prof Aapro says that our response to the virus could have been much better had we coordinated, and stresses how important collaboration is going forward. He adds that while the vaccine is slowly being rolled out in some countries, it is important to keep following the rules. He reiterates ESMO's guidelines that cancer patients across many settings who are currently being treated should be a priority and that there are very few reasons not to vaccinate these patients.
