Dr Adelina Silvana Gheorghe speaks to ecancer at the Institute of cancer conference about her epediemiological cross-sectional study that she presented at the conference.

She explains her research and how it was carried out with regards to analysing the knowledge, attitudes and practices of oncolgical patients in Romania during the COVID-19 pandemic.

She then talks about how this study can be helpful in understanding the patients' perspectives and in making future strategies for cancer care.

Dr Gheorge then compares the results obtained from Romania to the ones obtained outside Romania and speaks of the challenges with learning oncology in Romania and how to overcome them.

She concludes the interview in the end by giving her opinion about the future of oncology in Romania.
