Dr John DiPersio speaks to ecancer about his work on the use of CARTs for the treatment of T-cell ALL and T-cell non-hodgkin lymphoma.

He gives a thorough explanation of the development of this treatment, from conception through to development and manufacture.

Dr DiPersio explains how some of the potential complications of this process can be overcome, and looks forward to the human trial stage of this process.

Hopefully, this treatment will be available later this year, and the research will be expanded to later tackle AML.
