Dr Carlo Caduff speaks to ecancer at the 2019 CC LMIC meeting about how anthropology can contribute to better cancer care in India.
He mentions that it is important to understand the local conditions within that area, and how this understanding can improve cancer care for patients.
Dr Caduff states that these patients are often diagnosed at a late-stage. The accommodation costs for these patients are also extremely high, as they typically have to move to a bigger city to receive treatment.
