Dr Navneet Singh speaks to ecancer at the Choosing Wisely: Value added cancer care for India event in Delhi about 'choosing wisely' for lung adenocarcinoma in India.
He explains that in India lung cancer often gets diagnosed as pulmonary tuberculosis and that the medical community need to be greater aware of this and that there should be suspicion of lung cancer from early on.
Dr Singh also asserts that it is essential to have a tissue diagnosis of the disease to avoid confusion with other similar conditions.
