Prof Peter Rothwell speaks to ecancer at the International Aspirin Foundation Scientific Conference 2019 in Rome about current guidelines that use a 'one dose fits all' approach when it comes to aspirin.
Prof Rothwell explains that this recommended dose often differs between countries, so there is no one agreed-upon dose or dosing regimen that is universally recommended. Furthermore, he explains that other factors need to be considered for each patient.
He concludes that a 'one dose fits all' or a 'one frequency of dosing' fits all approach is not likely to be the best approach.
