Dr Carlos Castro speaks to ecancer at the 2019 ecancer-Oncosalud Symposium of Molecular Clinical Oncology in Peru about the challenges associated with the global implementation of the HPV vaccine.

He states that despite having a nationwide HPV vaccination program in Columbia, vaccination rates unexpectedly declined. He also describes the reasons that may have attributed to this.

Dr Castro explains specific strategies for different areas of Columbia are being developed with the Columbian League Against Cancer and the American Cancer Society to reverse this situation.
