Dr Michael Diaz speaks to ecancer at the 2019 ASCO Direct Highlights Symposium in Miami about the Oncology Care Model, which is an alternative payment model that aims to improve patient care in the oncology community.

During his presentation, he will describe the background of this model, along with the challenges that have occurred.

He states that the model is continuously being refined, due to changes in data in order to improve value-based care and mentions the next iteration of the model - called the Oncology Care Model 2.0.
