Prof Richard Harding spoke to ecancer at the UICC World Cancer Congress in Kuala Lumpur about the patient reported outcome scale.

Many collaborators have been working on the outcome scale with Prof Harding, a scale which helps identify what patients want from palliative care, as reported from the patient.

This scale has been rolled out in sub-saharan Africa, and now it's being implemented in Jordon.

He notes some of the differences and similarities in patient needs between locations, and how translating that information can be very useful.
