Dr Karine Rizzoti - MRC National Institute of Medical Research, UK

Dr Karine Rizzoti speaks about her work investigating the expression of SOX-2 in the pituitary gland of developing embryos. From this work it has been possible to identify cells in the adult pituitary that are thought to represent progenitors. Dr Rizzoti explains what she hopes these results will achieve and discusses how the development of genetic markers for these cells will make future work even more accurate.
