Dr Sylvie Thirion talks about her research that has identified GHS-R (ghrelin G-protein coupled receptor) as a possible new pharmacological target for the treatment of somatotroph pituitary adenomas. Dr Thirion discusses the interim results and her belief that this target will ultimately be exploited for the treatment of not just somatotroph adenomas but many other cancers as well.
