The increase has been attributed to our aging population, lifestyle issues such as obesity and the rise in diabetes/the metabolic syndrome. Dr Cornes talks about the symptoms of endometrial cancer, suggests reasons why these might be overlooked and explains what happens when patients are diagnosed. Dr Cornes explains a number of recent clinical trials investigating radiotherapy: when it is necessary and what the most effective way of administering it is.
