Laser oncosurgery - A new perspective in treating cancer
Prof Pravettoni discusses Work Package 6 of the iManageCancer project, which is responsible for the psycho-emotional health and health assessment tools being developed.
These will empower patients by understanding the patient’s psychological profile and help them to share decision making with their healthcare teams.
iManageCancer, or ‘Empowering patients and strengthening self-management in cancer diseases’, will team serious games up with the latest in self-management technology to empower people living with cancer.
Now the project has been running for a year, she explains what this Work Package is hoping to achieve and why, what has been done so far and how this relates to the rest of the project.
She also looks at which other partners they works with on this, what the next steps are plus the challenges they’ve encountered.
