Prof Berns covers his work package ‘Mouse models’ which develop and validate drug combinations which could work in patients, and whether or not it met its aims now most of the EurocanPlatform project has ended.
EurocanPlatform is an EC funded project bringing together 28 European cancer Institutions and organisations to work together in a unique collaboration. The centres are sharing infrastructures and collaborating on projects to help advance cancer research and treatment.
He discusses current and future plans for trials to validate his work, how collaboration between European institutes has helped as well as what the expected clinical impact will be.
